Concrete Grinding / Polishing
Polished concrete is considered one of the most sustainable concrete solutions because it makes use of the materials already present. Most modern buildings in are built on a concrete slabs polishing the exposed concrete eliminates the energy and material consumed by applying a floor covering. Polished Concrete reduces dust, dust mite and allergen problems, and does not support mould growth.
Clear / Coloured Sealer
Dr Crete has a variety of high quality sealers to suit customers from the domestic to the commercial and industrial applications. Our products range from acrylic, two-pack urethane and poly aspartic sealers. Acrylic sealer is suitable for the domestic market, but not recommended for the commercial and industrial industry. Two-pack urethane sealer is a high quality seal which will extend the life of your concrete surface 2-3 times more than the acrylic sealer. Poly aspartic sealers offers the highest resistance to most chemical spills and bacteria. In short, concrete solutions that can stand the test of time.
Food Grade & Epoxy / Polyaspartic Floor Coatings
Dr Crete’s food grade coatings have been engineered to have more superior qualities than other applications. What gives our coating higher durability and a more hygienic environment is a patterned 8mm glass which is seeded through the food grade epoxy (instead of sand which can harbour bacteria) The glass also provides an extremely hard-wearing none slip surface which creates a layer to isolate the contact of traffic directly onto the epoxy, which extends the life span of surfaces.
Spray Crete Coating
Dr Crete’s Spray On Resurfacing is designed to create a decorative finish on existing concrete surfaces. Our spray on resurfacing coatings bond rigidly to existing suitable concrete and help create a slip-resistant, textured, decorative surface with excellent durability and abrasion resistance.
Seamless flake flooring
Used for over 25 years, seamless flake flooring has high resistance to staining and high traffic areas, and will not harbour bacteria making it ideal for kitchens, bakeries, eateries, toilets, carports and all wet areas. The paint flakes are colourful, tough, low maintenance, seamless, durable, providing a hygienic coating system for floors, walls and other surfaces.
Acid Etching Coating
Dr Crete, Morayfield introduces Acid Etch Coatings that brings new and old concrete surfaces to life with colour, charm and style. A unique and distinctive surface effect, much like natural stone, can be produced by the chemical stain reaction, finished with either Epoxy, Polyaspartic or 2 pack Urethane sealers. Acid etching provides a modern innovative design alternative for plain concrete.
Sand Stone Look
The spray sandstone affect is achieved by spraying down a high bonding cement base coat colour, then using different shaped and styled vinyl mats as templates to spray over to create this unique sandstone look, which can be sprayed in many different colours, added into borders and features, or total areas
covered in this amazing affect to add warmth and energy to any environment.
Slate Crete
Slate Crete concrete resurfacing texture is the most realistic imitations tile on the market to date. This application is trowelled on then rolled with a rock-patterned roller to give the random texture. With its natural look and thickness of the tile, this gives the appearance that they have been laid into the concrete surface.
